Here is a little recap of Simona’s 2018 achievements, including a publication and a Scholarship that definitely deserve a mention. Here’s to an even more productive 2019!
On August 5th-10th, Simona was at the Ecological Society of America 2018 Annual Meeting, where she presented the latest results from her research on Wood Storks, was involved as a mentor in the SEEDS program, and did a demo on analyzing tracking data at the Data HelpDesk.
Last week, the Department of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation had their annual awards ceremony at Lake Wauburg. Simona was selected as a recipient of the 2018 Florida Wildlife Federation Graduate Student Scholarship!
On April 11th–13th, Simona was at the Florida Chapter of the Wildlife Society conference to present her research on Wood Storks. Her talk won the award for the best student presentation!
